Just a final reminder that the Children’s Craft Workshop will be taking place tomorrow at 4pm-545pm, finishing just in time to join in the Grand Christmas Lights Switch on. Caroline has all sorts of crafts such as making lanterns and Christmas decorations. At just £1 its jolly good value for primary age children, and there are still places available. For further details please phone Caroline on 550730.

The great switch on event will start at the village hall at 6pm tomorrow evening with people gathering at the hall to sing carols and parade down Fore St, eventually finishing up at the pub where the countdown will take place for the great Christmas Tree Lights switch on! With Carols duly sung around the tree, we move into the pub for traditional festive entertainment and yummy mince pies and mulled wine, so don’t miss out, come and support AGs start to the festive season!

Someone has left a walking stick in the shop! If you keep falling over, it must be yours! The shop does get all sorts of things handed in, its worth calling in if you have lost something as the shop is the natural place for stray items to be handed in.The shop is now taking orders for Christmas Food and order forms have been distributed around the parish. There are many goodies on offer this year and shop staff will be very pleased to help with any enquiries. The village wine is still selling well, just right for that festive tipple.
