It seems that work is to start on the A379 to combat the subsidence in the road surface. This work has been long awaited and should start, weather permitting just after the Festive break. This could lead to delays for people on their way to work, so it would be wise to leave a bit earlier from home to avoid delays. There are more details on the village website.                                                                                  Â
