Last Sunday was Palm Sunday and the congregation of St Andrews Church held a parade through the village, complete with a beautiful donkey to represent our Lord’s entry into Jerusalem. What to do if you find dead or sick birds on the river or estuary. Possible Avian Flu.

AVIAN INFLUENZA information – if you find any dead birds in the estuary or Tidal Road On Monday a dead young male swan was found on the estuary with no signs of injury or obvious cause of death. There is still a national outbreak of Avian flu, so maybe that was the cause here. Defra
