A New Opportunity
After a challenging period, the village shop will be reopening! We extend our very best wishes to Heidi as she embarks on this new chapter.
The Village Shop Association is responsible for maintaining the shop, including its building and exterior spaces, and purchasing essential items such as white goods. We also provide services for the shopkeeper. It is important to note that we do not receive funding from council or government sources, and our financial situation has taken a hit of late.
To provide full support for Heidi and to promote long-term sustainability and success of the shop, we warmly invite you to become a Friend of the Aveton Gifford Shop.
To join as a Friend, please consider making a donation (of any amount) annually from 1st October to 30th September or as a one-time contribution. We will keep you informed about news, events, ongoing improvements, and new initiatives through mAGpie and Facebook, and we really hope that many of you will choose to support our community resource in this manner.
