The Archaeology of Dartmoor and the South Hams – a talk by Win Scutt – 28th March, 7.30

The Parish Project Group has arranged a talk by Win Scutt, who is  the archaeology correspondent for BBC Radio 5 Live, and contributes a 20 minute “World Archaeology News” feature every week on the Up All Night programme. He can also be heard each Monday evening
on BBC Radio Devon talking about local archaeology. He has a very impressive and wide ranging span of experience and knowledge, and is also a very entertaining speaker.

He has sent us a brief description; “There have been people living in South Devon for thousands of years. In the last 6,000 years we know they were farming. But where were they living and what did their farms and settlements look like? This talk will take you through the story of our ancestors lives – and we shall look at how they looked after their dead too.”

His talk will be on Friday, 28th March at 7.30 in the village hall, entry £5.0
