THE ARTS TRAIL IN AG – SIX OF THE BEST!
This year’s SHAF Art’s Trail runs from 12th OCTOBER to 27th OCTOBER
Not to be missed are the six hugely talented artists exhibiting in Aveton Gifford, four in the Fishermans Rest and two at Art Space, Glebelands. There are lots of exciting things to visit and see.
The works of art being exhibited in the Fisherman’s Rest are:-
Jane Parrish’s beautiful land and seascape photography, and also miniature handmade books.
Wildlife artist John Ashton’s wonderful oil paintings, mainly of birds of the Avon Estuary.
Kim Watkins’ uniquely quirky naïve pictures using recycled paper and card.
Sarah Harcus’s beautiful landscapes in acrylic combined with soft or oil pastel.
At Art Space, Elen Claire William’s art documents the coastal landscape through varied visual languages and she will show and talk about her technique for finishing unfinished work.
Sandra Litchfield creates stunning work in pewter, enamels and copper, with subjects based on geology, flora and fauna, and she will also demonstrate and talk about working in pewter’
Also visiting Art Space is Maggie Smith talking about her practice and signing her new book ‘Through the Artist’s Window’
