“There has an attempted break-in in the Village Shop to the stockroom which is behind the shop.The person or persons did not manage to gain access but damaged the lock with a crowbar which they left outside the stock room. They were probably disturbed by someone driving into the car park.
Can you ask everyone to be vigilant particularly in the car park and if they notice anything suspicious to let me know on 07943 657866.”
Could you also let the police know if you see anything suspicious please? They have been given details of the two men who were casing the village last Monday evening, and have asked that if anyone has any other info to get in touch with them asap.
