Ken Doughty’s book of articles written for mAGpie and the Magnet is on sale here now. It’s been produced by Pat and family, with help from friends, and is being sold to raise money towards planting native hedge plants on top of the new Devon bank around the graveyard extension at St Andrews. It’s a project that would have been particularly dear to Ken’s heart, with his keen interest in our local countryside and wildlife – this will over time provide a very valuable habitat to many of our native flora and fauna.
There is a suggested donation of £7 for the book, and it can be bought from Ros Brousson (01548 550792, or [email protected]) or Joanna Smith (01548 550272). Joanna can also post copies to anyone living out of the area as well, so please phone her to arrange this.
