The AGVSA rules state that only shareholders can vote on substantive items at the AGM. We therefore want to encourage as many shareholders as possible to attend or, if they cannot be there, to appoint a proxy. A proxy can exercise all or any of a shareholder’s rights to attend, speak and vote at the meeting.
