This year’s show on Bank Holiday Monday will be just as big and as good as in previous years! It’s our one big annual fundraising event in the village, and it always raises money for the benefit of the various children’s causes in the parish – last year money went to the pool, the tennis club which has an increasing number of young players, and the forest school building at the pre-school – and all the money raised this year will go to similar causes for our young people here. So please – if you can spare one hour only to help out with a turn on the gate for visitors entries, the organisers would be really grateful. Lots of people have said they thought they might, but so far only 3 people have made a firm commitment. Rick Clayton needs another 16 please, and asap too please so that he can draw up a rota. They have other helpers already for parking, stewarding etc and other parts of the day, so this is the last thing where help is needed.
If you can volunteer an hour, please email him on
rickclayton@gmail.com
And please ask anyone you can think of who might also be interested!
Thank you all very much
