This year the Christmas tree lights will be switched on on Sunday evening – 6th December. Meet at the hall at 6.00 pm to join in the procession of carol singers who will walk down Fore Street to the pub. The lights will be switched on at about 6.10, and then Athenia and Mark invite you to the pub for mulled wine and mince pies, and a seasonal entertainment organised by The Taverners.
As this is a community event, contributions of mince pies and bottles of red wine would be very gratefully received please (could they be dropped off at the pub by Sunday lunchtime at the latest please.)
