The parish council requested a replacement bin for the one that was removed from the end of the green several months ago. The pc has now been told that SHDC has changed its policy, and won’t be issuing any more dedicated dog poo bins, but dog walkers can use any of  the ordinary green council rubbish bins instead for their dog waste bags. From the village’s point of view these bins seem to be emptied more frequently anyway, and it also makes it easier for the council waste collections, so it seems we all win here.
