The self help flood group will meet again on March 6th at 6.45 in the village hall. We have recently been given the good news that a grant towards storage and equipment has been granted by the Flood Resilience Team at Devon County Council. This will be included on our agenda, and we will also need to collect information about the recent floods and conditions during the earlier part of the month to help Jim Fowler draw up our Community Emergency Plan. Was the Environment Agency flood warning helpful? What would help you to avoid flooding? Do you know anyone elderly or very young who would be vulnerable if their house flooded? If you have any information that might be useful to the group or to Jim, or you could help in any way we would be very pleased if you could join us then.
