This is going to be quite an important meeting drawing all the plans and previous work together. DCC grant money has given us equipment to help if the centre of the village floods again, and we have really nearly finished setting everything up, but there is still a little bit more to do before our emergency plans are properly in place. If you have been any part of any of these discussions before it would be great if you could come along to this one. We will also have some visitors from Devon County Council’s Flood Resilience Team who are going to tell us about the additional help they may be able to provide. We hope as many of you as possible will be able to come along to this meeting, and then we can finally get our flood warnings and responses in place.
