Heartstart refresher course – also includes what to do for choking in adults or children

This free training session will be held in the Hall on Thursday 6th December at 6.30. If you’d like to go please can you email Peter Javes on peter.javes@btinternet.com to reserve a place.
It’s a practical course in simple skills that can save lives. These include the recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using a defibrillator (AED) and choking in both adults and children.
We’ve got the defibrillator in the village on the wall of the pub, so we do have the means here to help if anyone does collapse. Several nearby villages have also got defibrillators, and they have been used to save people’s lives, so it’s very worth while knowing what to do.
