Now that we have our own brand new defibrillator (it’s on the outside wall of the Fisherman’s Rest for anyone who hasn’t seen it there) we are offered a Heartstart training session to know what to do in an emergency. An evening’s course has been arranged on Thursday 27th November, in the village hall. The training is free, and has updated information, and the chance of a practise run on a dummy to give us the confidence to cope in an emergency if we ever had to. It is run by the Kingsbridge Rotary Club; they have been here before and can make an evening with a serious theme both fun and interesting.
