Match report for Sunday’s game

Shaun Taylor stars with bat, but AGCC lose by 30 runs.

Batting first Prawle made heavy work of AGCC bowling quintet and at 63 for 7 an early tea was in prospect, only for the home side to get away and post 130 at the close of 35 overs, with six bowlers going for fifty runs off their alotted 18 overs, but four going at 75 off 11 overs with extras 21 Neil Farley 2 for 11 and the other wickets shared around.

In reply, but for Shaun Taylor’s half century & 16 from Scott Warren, nobody really mastered the uneven & sometimes treacherous bounce that the wicket had to offer, and AGCC were bowled out for 99.

Weather conditions were again marvellous & the hospitality was top draw…

AGCC take on Yealmpton on Thursday night in a T20 at home, followed by another home game v Slapton on Sunday June 12th at 2pm
