Mooring Payment

The mooring fee for 2023-2024 is £30.65 which comprises of the mooring fee of £30, plus an online payment charge of 65p. The form below needs to be completed to make a payment. You will first need to accept the terms & conditions , then enter your details, before confirming your mooring details and making a payment in the last section.

Payment details need to be entered on the last page of this form and a payment of £30.63 will be taken when this form has been completed.

Terms & Conditions

Please read through each of the terms and conditions below and tick to indicate you accept each one.

T&C 1 *

A maintenance charge of £30 is payable to AGPC on acceptance of a mooring.

T&C 2 *

All boats/canoes/kayaks are moored here at their owner’s risk. The parish council can accept no responsibility for theft or damage to any craft on these moorings.

T&C 3 *

The parish council reserves the right to withdraw any annual permits during the year after any damage to property or infringement of conditions of the permit.

T&C 4 *

The permits are valid for one year only, from 1st April, and all moorings will be reassessed and re-allocated the following spring.

T&C 5 *

All boats must be under 4m. overall length, and must be light enough to be returned to the allocated posts after use. Please be aware that sailing dinghies are no longer permitted.

T&C 6 *

All boats/canoes/kayaks must be moored between the two allocated mooring posts.

T&C 7 *

They must all be attached securely both fore and aft, using the rings on both of your mooring posts. Please feel free to use chains and padlocks for extra security.

T&C 8 *

Only the one registered boat/canoe/kayak can be kept on your mooring, two are not permitted, even if you own them both.

T&C 9 *

The registered boat/canoe/kayak must display the correct annual permit sticker.

T&C 10 *

If you change it during the season, please supply details and a photo of the new one to Dom Webb or Ros Brousson to update parish mooring records, and to get a replacement annual permit sticker.

T&C 11 *

All boats/canoes/kayaks must be kept on the mooring posts. If for any reason you need to remove it for a short period (eg for essential repairs) please tell Dom Webb or Ros Brousson. Demand for foreshore moorings is high, and empty spaces are noticed very quickly by applicants waiting for a post - any that are unused may be given to the next on the waiting list.

T&C 12 *

“Sub-letting” your post is not permitted.

T&C 13 *

All boats must be in a seaworthy condition, and well maintained. Please check it on a regular basis, and bale it out when necessary. These moorings are not overseen by the parish council, but regularly untended boats will be noted, and may lead to the loss of a permit.

Please note: All permits are only issued for boats that will get regular use, as demand for moorings in the parish is so high. These parish council owned moorings are NOT storage for unused boats. If this proves to be the case, the permit will be withdrawn.

Please also note: The parish council and the Duchy of Cornwall own the entire foreshore here. The parish council, also acting on behalf of DoC, reserves the right in the interest of all, to remove unauthorised, derelict or abandoned boats during the same annual mooring assessment.

I understand that the conditions must be adhered to, and that any breach will result in my mooring agreement being terminated without refund of the maintenance fee I have paid.
