Notice of shop AGM – Friday 14th November at 7.0 pm

VILLAGE SHOP AGM
The required two weeks notice is being given that the Annual General Meeting of the Aveton Gifford Village Shop Association Ltd will be held  on Friday 14th November at 7.0 pm in the village hall.

The agenda is as follows:

1. To receive the unaudited accounts and balance sheet for the financial year ended 31st December 2013.

2. To receive the shopkeepers report.

3. To receive the report of the Management Committee.

4. To elect members of the Management Committee.

All members of the Management Committee must retire as required by the Company’s rules.                                                                                               Written nominations of those willing to serve as members of the Management Committee following the Annual General Meeting must be delivered to the Secretary via the shop by Friday 7th November 2014.                                                                                                                                                   THE COMMITTEE HAS ONLY A FEW REPRESENTATIVES AT PRESENT, AND URGENTLY REQUESTS MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO VOLUNTEER.

Matters raised may require the shareholders to vote for approval. In order that any vote can be passed, enough shareholders must be present to reach a quorum.The Management Committee would therefore urge you to attend if you can.
