Please could everybody remember that the entrance to the Rectory Lawns from the road is also the ONLY way in to the Old Rectory.
Since the parking places on the grass were closed off, the day afterwards three cars parked across the entrance to what is a private drive, particularly thoughtless when there were still places available in the Memorial Hall car park.
With luck the Rectory Lawn is only closed temporarily, but please could everybody respect the double yellow lines on the road across the gateway and keep that free, and also please don’t park inside it at the bottom of the track up to the house, because that driveway is in constant use.
