The metal casing of the sand filter (part of the water purification system) has just split, and as a result the chlorination won’t work properly to keep the water up to safe levels. Harris Pools have already been contacted, and it will be repaired as soon as possible, but in the meantime with a lot of regret and apologies the decision has had to be taken to close the pool until it is mended.
Everything was thoroughly checked by Harris Pools just 2 months ago and there was no sign of wear – and unfortunately it is too big a job for us to repair ourselves. For the moment the pool will have to remain closed, but we will keep you informed of progress through website and our AG Facebook page.
