OUR POST OFFICE – DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that our Post Office here in the village will now be open on Saturdays AND Sundays? And the good news is that Peta is now officially our Aveton Gifford sub-postmistress, and she has passed all the training and tests , and has taken over from Dinah.
Now that she has the authority from the Post Office to she is pleased to be able to open up the Post Office counter in the shop every day.
That’s particularly useful with Christmas coming up – all your Christmas parcels can be posted here in the village, no driving into Kingsbridge and finding somewhere to park, and you can post them at leisure at the weekends if you like.
You can also withdraw cash at the weekends too, so no more driving to find a cash point.
The shop is open seven days a week –
Monday to Thursday 8.00 until 6.00, but closed at lunchtime from 1.00 until 2.00.
Friday 8.00 until 6.00 – NOT closed at lunchtime
Saturday 8.30 until 3.00
Sunday 8.30 until 1.00
