Remembrance Sunday – changes as a result of lockdown

As a result of the lockdown on Thursday, there can be no Remembrance Sunday service in the church this weekend. This also affects the Roll Call and laying of parish wreaths by the war memorial in the churchyard beforehand – guidelines introduced now only allow two people to gather there at one time. However, please do feel free to come and pay your own personal respects at the war memorial if you would like to, but please do remember to keep the social distancing measures in place if you find you’re not the only one.

And so that our parishioners can still pay their respects as usual on Remembrance Sunday, Neil Barker invites you all to stand in your doorways at 11.00 am to observe the minutes silence there instead.
