Road closure notice – Rock Hill, Aveton Gifford on Monday 2 October 2023.
Dear Customer
In order to make urgent repairs to the sewer network safely and efficiently, we’ll need to close Rock Hill for up to 10 days, starting on Monday 2 October.
Our excavation will be in the road as highlighted in yellow on the attached map. Vehicular access will not be possible (except for emergency vehicles) through this area between 08.30 and 16.00. There will still be pedestrian access at all times. Large metal plates will cover the trench overnight.
Please be assured that the Emergency Services have been made aware that the road will be closed and in the event of an emergency, we will work with them to provide access to any sick or injured parties. Local bus companies, schools and refuse collectors have also been notified.
