There will be another flood group walk about on Sunday morning at 10.30. We want to find suitable places for sand bag stores. If you have any suggestions, or can offer some dry storage please can you get in touch with Rob Ford.
SHDC has sandbags available, but for residential properties only, and only 10 per property. You can collect them yourself free of charge from council depots, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00,(excluding Bank Holidays), and it’s worth telephoning 01803 861234 first to check availability, and which depot has them in stock.
The next meeting for the flood group will be held in the hall on Tuesday 7th January at 6.30.
