The “Soup and Pud” held last week in the village hall for the first time was a success with a number of people coming in to have their lunch there. The soups were delicious, as were the puddings, and enjoyed by all who came. They have decided to do it again next month and then see if everyone would like it to continue during the winter. The money raised will go towards funds for the village hall – it’s a chance for a get-together over a very nice lunch, and all for a good cause too, so do put the 8th of November in your diary and come along then as well!
