TIDAL ROAD CLEAN UP – Sunday 3.00 until 4.00
If you are free this Sunday afternoon, and fancy a walk down the Tidal Road, the ACA would be very grateful for a hand in clearing up any rubbish – bits of plastic, fishing net, car or boat bits, discarded crisp packets etc – that have all been dropped or blown up the estuary in the recent winds. It only takes an hour, and it’s surprising how much you find once you start looking! Volunteers are advised to bring gloves, and some carrier bags to put the rubbish in might be handy, (but no one is expected to pick up anything potentially dangerous or really revolting).
Volunteers can meet in the car park at 3.00, and any rubbish collected can be left there afterwards by the bin, and SHDC will collect it in the week.
