The ACA would like to invite volunteers to a clear up session on the foreshore and Tidal Road on Sunday morning. A lot of litter and rubbish came up the estuary during the bad weather this year, and there is still a lot of plastic, bits of fishing net and line, and other debris brought in by the storms which is littering the foreshore. It looks as if the forecast is good, so come along and help clear it up! Volunteers will meet in Timbers car park at 11.0 – all you need is a couple of carrier bags for the rubbish, and a pair of gloves is advisable .
