This week sees the start of the long awaited Watershed Project from SWW. The aim of this project is to separate the run off water from the roads and properties from the sewarage system. Over the years there have been several instances of sewage flooding the road, especially in Jubilee Street. Work this week has been concentrated behind the Memorial Hall to fit an overland drain to help ease the flow during times of flooding. There will be work on the road during Half Term week, to fit a water pipe to take water from the school and Pulleys Close. There will be two way traffic lights in force between Feb 15-19th. Hopefully all the work should be completed by the end of the month.
