Our W.I ladies meet in the village hall tonight Thursday January 12th at 7.30pm. This weeks talk is about the recent tractor runs in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance. The team have motored the roads of Devon and Cornwall raising money for the trust as they went. They arrived at the Royal Cornwall Showground after driving over Dartmoor and through the local countryside. They have raised over £7,550 in their various runs. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting as it’s been declared an open meeting.So come on down and enjoy this evening, there will be refreshments on offer and a question and answer session aftr the talk.                                                                                                                           Â
There will be a road closure at Icy Park starting next week on the 16th of January. Hopefully there will be some acess to allow essential vehicles in and out of Icy Park and Glebeland. Further information will be palced on the village website/facebook page.                                                Â
Our rubbish collections will be a day late this week, on Thursday instead of Wednesday, next week they will be back to normal.
St Andrews will have a Holy Communion service starting at 11am, the service will be led by Rev Neil Barker. All are welcome to attend and there will be refreshments served after the service.Â
There are a number of regular events happening in the village: Yoga with Adam on Mondays 7-9pm; Yoga with Whitney Mondays at 9-10.15am; Pilates withAimee Freeton Tuesday 9.30-10.30am; Yoga with Stephen Tuesdayat 6.30-8pm; and Table Tennis club now on Wednesdays at 7-8pm, all in the village hall, more details on the village website.
