The pub also has a Quiz Night on the third Thursday of each month, this month’s is on June 20th 7.30 for the 8pm quiz.. Knit and Natter is also at the pub on a Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm.

The W.I will have another Swapshop Coffee Morning on Saturday June 29th starting at 10.30am. There is no charge to have a table but a donation towards the costs would be welcome. There will be refreshments and a raffle too. So please join the ladies for this lovely social occcasion. From September the ladies are changing their meeting times to a Tuesday afternoon in the village hall starting at 2.30-4.30pm. Something to consider for the shorter days later on. Earlier this year the W.I and Knit and Natter joined forces to knit some Trauma Teddies which will go to the enmergency services to give to children caught up in house fires, accidents etc. There is a pattern that can be obtained from Maggie, on 550153. Its quite simple and fun to do, why not have a go?

St  Andrews has a Summer Songs of Praise  this Sunday at 11am. The service will be led by John and Karen Rowse fom the congregation. All are welcome to attend, come and sing some favourite songs!!
