Village Voice by Rosie Warrillow 14th September

The W.I will have their meeting tonight in the village hall and are pleased to welcome Pauline Carter as speaker. Pauline will be talking about her love of music and her Celtic harp which she will demonstrate and play some well known music. Guests are welcome to attendand. Pauline has indicated that a sing along could be in the offing. Sounds like a lovely fun evening and of course there will be some refreshments too. The meeting will start at 7.30pm in the village hall.                                                

St Andrews Harvest Supper will take place in the village hall on September 222nd starting at 7pm, and will have guest speaker Chris Murray from Pennywell Farm talking about his life experiences. To book your place please contact Caroline or Neil Barker at Stonecot, Fore St.                                     

The mobile library wiill call here on Wednesday September20th from 9.30am-10.30am and hopefully will return here in October, please use it or lose it!!                                                                                             

A.G has a fledgling Music Society which has started up in the village hall every month on the third Thursday. The next one is on Thursday September 21st at 7.30pm. As with all new things attendance is a bit on the low side but if we patronise this new venture I’m sure it will grow. The Parish Council met last week and were very excited to appoint three more willing souls to the ranks of the council. Welcome to Mark, Niki and Louis, we look forward to your contributions!                                                                                                                                                            

St Andrews will have a lay led Sunday Worship service this Sunday starting at the usual time of 11am, all are welcome to attend.
