As we are entering the Christmas Week there are still some family oriented services in St Andrews church. On Christamas Eve there is a Communion Service starting at 9.30pm, all are welcome to attend and on Christmas morning there will be a Christmas Family Praise service starting at the earlier than usual time of 10am. All are welcome to attend.

St Andrews – a beautiful photo taken this month

So much for the yo ho ho, just a timely reminder that if you’re expecting a parcel or post or wish to send items through the post, that there will be further disruption during this important week as not only the postal workers are on strike but so are the railways, both important links for communication. Keep an eye on the tracking system thats for sure!!

Kingsbridge Craft Market is still open in the town and will be until the end of the month. Two VIPVvisitors  were received last week, one was a Mister Claus who seemed very interested in gift ideas and a certain local celebrity with 4 hoofs, little Patrick the pony doing the rounds . The craft market does feature the work of local A.G artists and all the items look lovely, well worth a look for some last minute gifts.

The weather has been very cold of late and the roads have suffered as a result. There were pockets of ice all over the place. Just a quick thank you really to those who helped salt the roads and pavements.

There’s a Christmas Eve Curry and Quiz night at the Fishermans starting at 7pm-8.30pm. There will be an all  you can eat ,3 choices of curries plus sides, and a quiz, great way to spend Christmas Eve. There will be a Christmas Day lunch too and a New Years Eve musical evening with the ever popular Raggle Taggle Band. More details can be found on the pub website/facebook page.

Merry Christmas everybody!!
