Village Voice by Rosie Warrillow, 25th April

There have been some changes at the Hive pre-school. After many dedicated years of service Manager Mandy Tucker has stepped down along with Kay who did wonders in admin. Well done ladies I’m sure you will be greatly missed! The new team, Laura and Katie have taken over as managers, Katie is operations manager and Laura is head of Teaching and Learning. The new team is completed by Nicky in Administration.. During the last term, the children have been learning about all things under the sea, from the North to the South poles and all the other oceans too. They have been learning about all the wondeful sea creatures and are very much looking forward to a visit to the National Marine Aquarium in the new term, wow, how exciting. Good luck for the new term everyone!!

Our friends at Deer Wood are now looking forward to their open Bluebell weekend on  the 4th-5th of May, Booking is now live for the parking for this event as it’s very restricted. They are also hosting an acoustic singing day with Elise and Charlie on Saturday May 11th. More details can be gained by visiting their website thedeerwoodtrust.org.uk and facebook page.

St Andrews welcomed some lovely visitors last Sunday, Guy and Sue were on holiday and called into St Andrews to celebrate their Ruby wedding anniversary! Rev Neil Barker prayed for the couple and gave a blessing for them, and the congregation warmly congratulated them with a round of applause! After church they were joined by friends at the Fishermans Rest for a lively Sunday lunch!

This Sunday St Andrews will have a  Holy Communion service starting at the usual time of 11am.
