There was a plea from our friends at Deer Wood recently, please think twice before any enthusiastic weeding or spraying removes early flowering dandelions! These provide essential food for bees after the winter time and obvoiusly if the flowers are sprayed, this would be spell disaster for the bees and other insects. Our pollinators are so importants, why not set aside an area to ‘go wild’ or plant bee friendly plants for this summer? Our little creatures need all the help they can get.                                              Â
