Well, Pippa Unwin wants pictures of our dogs so that she can include them on a page she is working on. To have your best friend included please message Pippa on Messenger/facebook.It will be great to have as many included as possible.

It’s Mothers Day this Sunday and the Fishermans Rest has a special three course menu available for that very special lady in our lives. Please contact the pub for more details, but don’t tell mum!!

A street party co-ordinator is still required for our event in June, if you can help in any way please contact any of the Parish Councillors. We have had some great events in the past, when the bypass opened and the Queens other Jubilee celebrations too.

There was a plea from our friends at Deer Wood recently, please think twice before any enthusiastic weeding or spraying removes early flowering dandelions! These provide essential food for bees after the winter time and obvoiusly if the flowers are sprayed, this would be spell disaster for the bees and other insects. Our pollinators are so importants, why not set aside an area to ‘go wild’ or plant bee friendly plants for this summer? Our little creatures need all the help they can get.
