Village Voice by Rosie Warrillow – 2019! January 4th

It seems that there has been a little bit of Christmas Magic going on in our community over the festive period. A number of little knitted angels have been distributed throughout the Parish, being misteriously delivered through letterboxes. I’m sure that we would all like to thank our kind and very shy benefactor for these most welcome little additions to our Christmas festivities.

The next Parish Council meeting will take place on Monday January 7th at the village hall, starting at 7.30pm. There will be news on the various on going projects in the village, including the proposed new village hall, building projects and the regular news items.

Our Wi ladies will be having an open meeting this month. The ladies will have local wildlife artist John Ashton as the speaker who will be giving his insight on the river and all its exciting wildlife.  The meeting takes place on Thursday January 10th at 7.30pm in the village hall. Guests are charged £3 on the door and everyone is welcome to come and share the evening. Refreshments ae provided and there is also a raffle.

Helen Phillips will be holding a Sound Meditation Session in the village hall on Sunday January 6th at 4.30pm-6pm.. Described as a New Year gift to yourself, the intension of the session is to achieve a blissful state of mind using sounds in the meditation.
