The Project Group will have a display in St Andrews church to commemorate the end of the first World War. There will be lots of information on all those brave souls who went to war from this parish. The Roll of Honour in church gives the names of 96 people from the parish who served in some capacity during the conflict and includes one woman, who was a nurse. Since the memorial was erected, more names have come to light and there will be an additional name read out with the reading of the names on Remembrance day. There are nearly 20 people that gave their lives from A.G during the war, quite a large proportion as the population in those days was only about 6oo, food for thought. The exhibition will run from Friday November 9th and will continue for the entire month. The church is open during daylight hours, 8am -3.30pm to view this display. Many thanks to Ros Brousson, Pippa Unwin and Delia Elliot for organising this event.

The Affordable Housing Enabler and the Devon Rural Housing Enabler will be present to field your questions on the subject.
