It seems incredible that October is nearly upon us, where did the summer go? I know our cricket club had issues with the weather earlier in the season and some issues of not having enough players, which is a great shame. The season is over for them, maybe there are some folk out there that would cherish a game of cricket for next year? Le’ts hope so. When the boys did play they did have some good results, they are a friendly team and like to have fun on the pitch, and have several events off the pitch like the darts matches last winter. If you are interested, have a think over the winter, nets practice starts in March usually in Kingsbridge Sports Centre.
As it will be ‘First Tuesday’ next week that can only mean one thing! Its Jazz Club time again, and this month’s musical guests will be John Burgess and the Jelly Bean Jazz Band.
