As promised last week we have more details about the Neighbourhood Plan consultation days, due to take place next weekend. The first session will be on the Friday evening, 8th April in the village hall between 6-8pm, the second will on the Saturday (9th) from 11am-1pm. The meeting will be discussing the future housing developments for the Parish and to explain progress on the Neighbourhood Plan, and gives us all the opportunity to meet the members of the Neighbourhood Plan group who will be on hand to answer questions and help to explain the plan’s progress. There will also be an opportunity to view the plans for a potential new village hall with members of the hall committee and a Parish councillor on hand to answer any questions.
Well here we are once again in British Summer Time, and its time to think about our community swimming pool and the resuscitation courses due to take place soon. The courses are essential for all pool key holders, you can’t have a key without the training! The courses will take place in the lower room in the Fisherman’s Rest, and will run from 7pm-8.30pm each evening. The dates are April 25th,and May 4th, 9th and 11th. If you book for a course and can’t come please let Maya or Maria know, someone else can then be booked in, there is a need to keep the sessions full to cover the cost of the tutor.
St Andrews has a Sunday Worship service this week starting at 11am with Michael Tagent leading.
