There will be delicious food organised by the Fisherman’s Rest at about 6.30pm with the firework display hopefully taking place at around 7.00pm. This is a very popular event and there is always a lovely high turnout, so come on down to the green and enjoy
Also on November 5th, there will be a coffee morning in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, at the pub, starting at 10.30am. There will be various stalls, plus a delicious cake stall and a raffle. This event has become very important as a way of raising as much for the RBL as possible to support them in their vital work, its also a lot of fun!
There is also an event in the village hall too on November 5th. An Unwanted Art sale has been organised in aid of the Triangle Chemotherapy Centre in Kingsbridge Hospital. If you have any items you wish to sell, please take them along to the hall and state what you would like for them, leaving your contact details. 10% of the profits will go to the Triangle Centre. The event will take place from 10 am-4pm.
