Its time for Jazz at the Fishermans on Tuesday. November 7th. Now that the dark nights are with us once again what better way to chase away the winter blues with some good food and some wonderful music! This months musical guest are Chris Walkers Pedigree Jazz Band and this is the first time that they have visited the club. Clarinetist Chris leads the 6 piece outfit and they play lively tunes from the 1950’s and 1960’s. They have performed all over the country at many popular jazz venues and their music reflects many of the greats of the contemporary scene, Chris Barber, Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball, to name just a few. They are a lively band that like to interact with their audience, they also play some Dutch Swing Tunes, reminiscent of clubs in London! They will have a change of drummer , Graham Smith an artist who has appeared many times at the club, will be deputising for Colin Lam, who is sadly ill. The Early Bird menu will be available before the jazz and you can pre-book with the staff at the pub, before 6pm Monday 6th November.
