This August Bank Holiday Monday was a wonderful day for our 10th anniversary Classic Car Show, and it broke all records –Â Â more visitors coming along to support it, a record amount of money raised, and not a drop of rain in sight!
Once the few last expenses have been paid Tony Porter and his team will have raised just over £6,000 for village facilities –  many thanks to Tony, and also to the Abrahalls who are all retiring from the show committee after 10 years. We’ve been so lucky to have their support to build first of all the Hive, and then to give money to other children’s facilities here, including the tennis court and the community swimming pool.
And thank you too to all the many volunteers who again worked so hard on the day, and to Mark for giving us this link to his photos, to all the generous people who donated the raffle and silent auction prizes, and not forgetting everyone who came along to enjoy the day.
Hello, A fantastic Classic car show I attended in my MGB GT GT 1970 CEA 97 J Colour Teal Blue.
My favourite classic car show. Thank you to all the staff and marshalls who helped on the day. A great show !
